Why are AMAX scans better than mine?
Because of the wider gamut and higher resolution of our scanner, and the excellent software we use for color calibration... Of course, our skill and experience counts.

Will you match the sample I print out from my own desktop printer?
There is no guarantee that your finished piece will exactly match your printed sample. Because of the widely varying results from different output devices and different technologies used, including inkjet and laser printers, all are different than true offset lithography. Even from one commercial print shop to another, there can be significant differences in results. For a precise color match, please contact us to arrange for a film-based matchproof. Once you approve of the proof, we'll match the color of the proof when printing your final piece. We are professionals, and do our best to make your job look outstanding.

How can I send the digital files to you?

Before sending your files, check the following:
All scans should be saved in CMYK TIFF or EPS format with 300dpi minimum (no LZW or other compression).
Screen and Printer fonts must be included on the disk to ensure that font substitution does not occur.
Include both layout files and any linked EPS or TIFF files.
Composite color or laser proof with any special instruction is highly recommended.

What types of removable media do you accept?
We accept 3.5" Floppy Disk, Iomega Zip Disk (100 MB), Iomega Jaz Disk (1 GB), Syquest Cartridge (44 MB, 88 MB and 200MB), CD and DVD.

How long will it take to upload my files via internet?
It will vary depending upon your file size, the speed of your Internet connection and the volume of Internet traffic at the time you upload them. Check this table for approximate times:

How long will it take for me to get the proof of my job?
It takes about 2 business days after we receive your electronic files.

What if I'm not sure my file works ok?
If you are not sure that your file will work, you can send it to us and we will examine it to see if there are any major problems that would prevent us from printing your job.

How long will it take to get my order?
Most jobs will be shipped within 10-14 business days after approval of your proof.

Can I get my order faster?
UPS Ground is standard. At the customer's request, we will ship overnight or 2nd day air. If you want to get your order even faster, please email or talk to our Customer Service.
